Highlights of 2013

2013 has been a delightfully busy year for us at Kombi Love. We’ve attended more weddings than ever, transporting bridal parties all over Victoria to some great soundtracks, and making lots of new friends.
Our last wedding of 2013 was at Stones of the Yarra Valley with Bree and Mike. We love this venue for its amazing views and historic setting, as you may have read in our last blog.
It seems like a long time since our first booking of 2013 back at the beginning of January when we provided the wedding transport for Jenna and Gareth.January is always a busy time and we will shortly also be saying ‘Happy First Anniversary’ to:
In February Mildred had a makeover courtesy of the Australian VW Performance who added even more class by fitting some lovely chrome parts to her engine… what a stunner! We take great pride in our VW Kombis George and Mildred being the best they can be and looking their best for every occasion, so when George won 'Best in Class' Standard 1968 Bay Window at Day of the Volkswagen 2013, making it three years in a row for Kombi Love we were really stoked.
We love feedback and are always looking to make the Kombi Love experience as awesome as possible, so receiving this made us amazingly happy:

Who can keep a secret? Luckily we can! George and chauffeur Wayne were tight lipped when attending an engagement party back in March - as it was Claire and Nathan’s surprise wedding party! None of the guests were any the wiser as we rocked up and spread the love.
We’ve visited some fantastic locations such as St Kilda, Brighton, Black Rock, Acheron, Ozone Jetty, Barwon Heads Beach, Sorrento, Daylesford, Portsea, the Yarra Valley, Phillip Island, Fitzroy, Mount Macedon, Homestead and Melbourne’s CBD. In fact just about everywhere!
Thanks again to everyone who chose Kombi Love this year. We’ve loved meeting each and every one of you and thanks for making us a part of your special day. And to the hundreds of special devotees who follow us each day on Facebook.
As the New Year begins we thank our winning team Angela, Wayne, John and Fleur and the crew at AVWP for being the best they can be and for taking great care of George & Mildred :)
