Celia and John were married on 29 November 2013 in Sorrento. The couple wanted a wedding car that matched the style of their wedding and was full of personality, whilst being able to carry the whole bridal party. Our VW Kombi George and chauffeur Wayne were only too happy to oblige.

Why Kombi Love? "A Kombi van just suited the style of our wedding and was an obvious choice as soon as we saw it. It’s a bit off beat and brings a bit of personality with it, in an unexpected way. We loved that it could potentially carry our entire bridal party in the one vehicle too."

Memories of the day? "We remember smiling and laughing A LOT. The atmosphere we created getting ready in the morning with our families and bridal party just flowed through the day facilitated by the great team of people by our sides. When George arrived to take us to the wedding he looked just splendid and Wayne was a fabulous chauffeur. We especially loved his red hat - very fitting! The music he played really helped my mood as we set off for the church and I arrived happy and excited. The small touch of the right music in the car is so important and something I never considered until the moment! I went from singing along to Abba’s Waterloo with the girls on the way to the church to bopping down the aisle with my mother to the Dixie Cups ‘Going to the Chapel’. Whilst the emotions of walking down the aisle were still overwhelming there were no nerves with all the fun we’d had just getting there. Our wonderful minister The Reverend John Goldsworthy certainly generated some laughs with us throughout the ceremony as well. I remember feeling like our day just flowed easily without any worries. Our photographer and video team were ever present but never in the way, and the Portsea Hotel really looked after us and our guests all night, great food and service. In short – it was just the perfect day and more than we had ever imagined our wedding could be."
