When Lauren and Mitchell saw Kombi Love exhibiting at Day of the Volkswagen it was love at first sight! The couple knew it was fate when they realised that George and Mildred were the retro wedding cars of their dreams... especially as Mitchell has similar good taste in cars!

| Bride's Dress | Wendy Makin Beautiful lace bodice and tulle skirting, diamante's down the back of the dress. (It was one of the first dresses I tried on!) I would highly recommend going through Brides on Collins, Wendy's Melbourne boutique store. Wendy is a lovely Australian designer and personally called me right before my first dress fitting to ensure that everything was as I wanted, before shipping to Melbourne. Wendy had opened her Melbourne boutique a few weeks after the Brides of Melbourne disaster to ensure that brides had somewhere they could trust to go to. If I hadn't already ordered from Baccini and Hill, I would have most definitely gone through Brides on Collins. |

Why Kombi Love? "We saw Kombi Love at Day of the Volkswagen and loved the idea of using Mitchell's blue beetle as the wedding car and couldn't believe our luck with finding two kombi's of similar colouring for our big day."
Memories of the day? "All our family and friends being part of our special day. The weather was perfect - slightly windy at times but overall couldn't have gotten a better day."
